Mik Jiwa

My name is Mik, I am an ambitious, reliable, and enthusiastic girl, from the Calgary area, who loves working on film and video productions. Whether you need a creative or just someone to help execute a plan, I'm your girl!

I am currently studying Film and Video Production at SAIT to enhance my abilities and knowledge relating to film and video projects so that I can better help YOU!

My Past Works

As the operator of a QTBIPOC skate group called Droppin' In, I also run the social medias and create videos like this one to promote our community to others who could potentially find safety within our ranks.

As an avid skateboarder and someone who is heavily involved in the skateboarding community within my city, I love being able to document both skating that happens in the streets, as well as events that take place, such as the event in this video.

I am very into action sports, specifically skateboarding and snowboarding and am proficient at filming while riding on either a snowboard or skateboard (I use both a Sony GL2 and a Panasonic HVX-200A). I also have my own transportation to get to any location that you may require me to be at. I am free on most weekends and I will be fully available in the spring and summer of 2026.
